Who are we?
Founded in 2002, Suas Educational Development is a movement dedicated to supporting high quality education in targeted under-resourced communities, with programmes in India, Ireland and Kenya.

What do we do?
Overseas Partner Development We provide technical and financial support to six partner and education projects in India and Kenya, promoting high quality education for 14,000 children a year.
In Ireland Our network of 7 societies provide opportunities to volunteer (e.g. mentoring) in the local community, fundraise for the overseas schools and raise awareness about development issues. If you are interested in Global Issues or working in this sector, we run evening courses all over Ireland and events like Extraordinary lives: Alternative Careers.
Volunteer Programme The Programme provides an opportunity to volunteer in a community-based school or educational project in India and kenya every summer. Since 2002, 454 volunteers have taken part in the Volunteer Programme working with our Partner Organisations for ten weeks, while learning about different cultures.
It offers the possibility to develop personal and professional skills, to work in a team, and to learn about the challenges and opportunities of development in our interconnected world.
