“Leadership is best learned at the coalface, and that is the opportunity offered by Suas. As a Coordinator, I learned key leadership and management skills, and put them into practice over a twelve week period in Kenya. Living and working in a very challenging environment with a great team of teachers, staff and Volunteers in Maweni school forced out the best in me.” Dermot Heslin, Team Coordinator, Mombasa 2009
