Mentor

Suas societies are involved in a range of education projects. Being a mentor you can support and empower those who are disadvantaged in our society through the Bridge to College, homeworks clubs, computer clubhouses and refugee mentoring programmes.

 

 

Fundraise

You can directly support the quality of education for children in India and Kenya by fundraising for Suas Partner Schools. Societies have organised Bollywood nights, St. Patrick's Day Face Painting, Christmas parties, pub quizzes, waxing..... the list goes on!

 

Raise Awareness

Passionate about an issue? Tell people about it! Suas societies design, plan and run campaigns, debates and awareness meetings such as Make Poverty History, End Child Labour, Global Campaign for Education, ODA and Stop Climate Chaos campaigns, Careers that Make A Difference and Extraordinary Lives events. Attend the Global Issues Seminar Series, the perfect place to ask any questions you ever had and educate yourself about development!

We are always looking for new members and to grow our society network nationwide. At present we have 7 societies- CIT, UCC, NUI Galway, NUI Maynooth, TCD, DCU, and UCD
