Across the country every year, enthusiastic, determined fundraisers put their mental and physical strengths to the test to help support our work. From marathons to muck runs, triathlons to treks - setting yourself a personal challenge can make this a year to remember. Whatever event you choose, we’ll make sure you are supported in your fundraising.
HELL & BACK is an off-road adventure event, featuring man-made obstacles and naturally occurring challenges over a variety of terrain, in the private Belmont Estate in Bray, Co. Wicklow. HELL & BACK is not just a hill run / mountain run / assault course / road race / hill walk / adventure race, but a combination of the best parts of all these pursuits! Turf Warrior is the obstacle course challenge that is packed full of adventure, mud, climbing, swinging, leaps into the Atlantic and all kinds of other mayhem and madness. Although it is not recommended for complete couch potatoes it is not a race that needs high levels of fitness, more a determination and sense of fun so if this sounds like you then register here!
Gaelforce West is the original and still the best. This has always been the one to conquer and to master. It is challenging, unique and the magnificent landscape through which you travel will wow you at every turn. 67km course spanning two counties. The route takes you from Glassilaun beach in Co Galway to the heritage town of Westport, Co Mayo and it includes: trail/mountain running or walking; cycling and kayaking. Are you bold enough? The Runamuck Challenge is Ireland's original, biggest & most fun cross country running event taking place over a wet and mucky course with various man made and natural obstacles including bale "jumps", net scrambles, ladder bridges, Tarzan swings, ditches, streams, tyres and tunnels plus several super slides. It is designed to test your mental and physical strength, and to leave you with a great big grin on your face! Sound like fun? Learn more about this serious mud fest here.
Tough Mudder is also taking place in Ireland for the first time ever! This event is not for the faint-hearted - hardcore 10-12 mile obstacle courses designed by Special Forces to test your all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie. Are you tough enough?

Organise your own Event
Organising a fundraising event is lots of fun, a wonderful experience and an extremely rewarding feeling. Ask your family, friends and neighbours to get involved with your event and watch the support for your efforts grow and grow.
No matter how big or small an event, the dedicated fundraising team here at Suas will be on hand to support in whatever way we can. - Photograph consent forms - We always ask our fundraisers to sign a photograph consent form to authorise us to use any photographs you may provide on our website, social network sites or newsletter.
